Prologue
They come together on this cold day,From miles around and across the bay. It’s been just six months since then and all the heartaches there have been. On the cargo they load their bags All to avoid friend’s jet-lag. They all come for a solemn purpose, Police and firemen, doctors and nurses. It’s all in ruins from when they fell, The devil’s chimney, from the depths of hell. From the church this all started, To go to the place where love ones departed. The priest with them they all await, They go with tears and lonesome on their face. Onto my bus they begin to sit, Women with tissues, men clinching their fist. It’s hard to know what they all go through. All that’s happened, they wish to redo. They dream about one day meeting again, But the loss is too great of the women and men. The pain is aweful is what most would say, But its too much for just one to repay. When those towers fell they will never forget How their stomachs fell into a dark pit,When they realized loved ones were still inside, To watch the plane and towers collide. They will never forget what happened that day, They don’t even know when things will be okay. But its hard to know what they all feel, To tell you their stories we’ll make a deal. Listen well to know what’s up, All of this is real, not at all made-up. They all carry a special aspect of life, When they lost a brother, sister, husband, or wife. I now tell you what really happened, For you to know what’s right in the end.

The Drunk
He was successful back before that fateful day, Where his eyes filled with color instead of dreary gray. He felt the loss of a best friend and brother. Torn, heartbroken, he pushed away his father and mother. Wearing the same shirt and tie at the corner bar, His conscious life drifting away, he fell to the tar. Losing it all, he fell deeper into the abyss. Death waiting patiently with a blissful kiss. Like razorblades he used to feel the rush, Memories and good times halting to a hush. Not a car, drop by drop, wasting his life away, Too far down the path, he could not stray. A lonely rose, dripping red, down its pedals, A beautiful soul corrupted and settles. Lying, cheating, he could not stop using slander and libel, Only needing God’s grace and The Holy Bible.

The House Wife
There was troublesome in her voice as she began to speak.
She was a strong woman before but now her sole is weak.

As she started off saying "it was just another day",
you could see her eyes tear up like a fountain of pain.
Her face was gray and cold from stress
u could tell that her life had become a mess.
As she opened her chapped lips to speak disheartened words,

the whole buss became grim as people listened and herd.
They herd how she had four blessings of joy,
her husband, two daughters, and her littlest boy.
Her husband had a agonizing job.
He was left with tones of work, with time he was mobbed.
He went around the country from here to there,
flying like a jittery dragonfly to who knows where.
Travailing so much he was almost always away,
he usually came back except for that day.
Before this though, they got in a fight.
Stabbing words into each others hearts with force and might.
She did not want him to go and abandon them again.
He would miss his daughters birthday of which she was turning ten.
Without a goodbye form his wife he went on that plain
unfortunately the merciless pilots were insane.
With these savage, coldblooded men in control,
They crashed that plain into the building and lost many soles.
One of which was their loving husband and dad
with this significant loss they turn devastatingly sad.
It ripped the bindings of this beautiful family apart
they spiraled down a dark, sorrow filled path from this great depart.
her children, she said, grew weary and depressed

there personalities were like cold stones, vanishing from reality, alone and distressed.
Now its to late, there's nothing else they can do
she did not even get to say goodbye or say,"love you, see you soon."
After she told her story the bus grew cold like a winters day
everyone was clueless on what to say.
The gaping scar it left on her heart was clearly shown
she now has to raise her family bitter and alone.

Pregnant Woman

She never thought the day would come,
just bad timing, and all was dumb,
always wanted but no rush to do so,
too young to do it, live high, live low,
she stands alone awaiting my bus,
no family, no friends, no whine, no fuss.
I look with sorrow into her blue eyes,
a smile on her face, her pain disguised,
she sits down and releases her bag,
just looking at her i wanted to gag.
She puts her hands around her tummy,
a stare in space, the face of a mummy.
i finally discovered her new situation,
she lost her husband, and cries, no temptation.
Just eight months along she looks,
the day she discovered, she bought all the books.
He was coming home from work that day,
special dinner,not knowing her dismay.
now she stands alone at this time,
holding her unborn baby, not all is fine,
she says this baby will live on here,
with everything her father, held so dear.
She prays that she can see light in this baby,
the acts of her father, hopefully...maybe.
Although he never really knew,
She knows he's looking down, getting her through.
She goes for closure finally today,
while she travels with respects that she will pay.

The Poser

I do mourn the loss of my father Bob
He left us the day just doing his job
He raised me himself; mom died I was young
You'd be mad too if you knew what I've done
The federal funding I stole from you
The lies I told you, you believed me too
This is not the first con that I've pulled
But that day was like the end of the world
Mayhem broke out when that first plane had crashed
Police and fire were on the scene fast
All the people in the towers that died
I don't care I'm just trying to get by
Today I'm just dressed like an average Joe
Traveling on this bus with all these folk
I could never have guessed the pain they felt
As they saw the north and south towers melt
I met the families and settled the scores
But for what I'm doing I have no remorse
That date 9 -11 that fateful day
What I'm doing no reverence I pay
All these people have their loved ones at heart
It's sad but money is my only part
Some people called it the DEVIL'S CHIMNEY
I believe there is a Devil in me.
